Peter Panic App Reviews

Cool game!

...But its just a free trial. Pay 3.99 for the full thing and to save progress.

Pay to play

Gotta pay money? To save?!?! Kidding me

Not worth the download

Just buy Wario Ware for your gameboy. Every time you close out of the game all your progress is lost. You have to pay $4 for the app. NOT FREE!

You have to pay 2 play

DO NOT GET THIS GAME! IT WAS FUN AT THE BEGING BUT THEN THESE GUYS CAME ON AND THEY WHERE ALL LIKE OOOOOH YOU HAVE TO PAY TO PLAY. WHAT KIND OF RIP OFF IS THAT? PLUS ITS LIKE 3.99. I UNDERSTAND YOU GUYS GOT TO MAKE BREAD BUT NO LIKE THAT. MAKE IT LIKE IN APP PURCHASES SO THAT YOU CAN BY CASH INSTEAD OF SOME DUMB PASS. OH BY THE WAY, THE SOUNDTRACK IS HORRIBLE

Pretty great!

Im slightly biased being a supporter of the arts myself but I really enjoy this game. I think the pay to save option is fair as it allows people to trial the game and see if they like it before purchasing. Ive wasted money on apps before so this was nice. The writing in this game is humorous. The songs are great too. I also enjoy the fact that Peter and the theatre are customizable. That way the protagonist doesnt have to be white if I dont want him to be. Yes, the minigames are similar to WarioWare but Ive played both the Wii and DS version and I dont see any particular copy and paste rip offs. Each activity makes sense for each level. $4 for a fun game that you can play as much as you like and unlock the reprises? Not too bad.

Fun app

Well written and I like the songs but the mini games you need to play are hard to beat and its very frustrating.

Like the game, but too pricey

I dont think its unfair to charge $4 for a game, game devs have a right to charge what they want. But I think what is upsetting people is the way it is initially being presented as a free game and then having the rug pulled out from under them. I deleted it because I just dont buy games that are in that price range. Unfortunately the poor reviews will end up making the game look bad when it is not. Its a very cute and funny game. How to play each mini game is unclear at first, but I think figuring each one out is part of the fun. If it were $2 instead of $4 I might consider buying it, but this is only because Im poor/cheap.

A Not-So-Wonderful game

I played the first few minutes of the game. I liked it. The story was good, the gameplay was good, the singing and acting was good. I finished the first level. It was fun. The Dev then told me you have to pay to save the game. I deleted it.

Pay to Save

You have to pay $4. To save your progress. In a free app. Absolutely ridiculous.

Obtuse

The obvious comparison is to the Warioware games, but there are some crucial differences here. Warioware makes use of your existing gaming literacy by showing you clear, uncluttered scenes with clear objectives, so you automatically know what to do. This game gives you about as much time, but shows cluttered scenes of arbitrary things with unclear conditions for success or failure, turning it into trial by error after error after error until it just gives up and explains what you need to do. If thats needed, then the micro game format is ill fitting and a normal game with instructions seems to make more sense. Hitting this much resistance by the second area, Im not inclined to bash my way through by persistence even if the writing IS cute and funny.

Not worth

This game is all fun but its payed to play. You legit have to pay 3$ for the ability to dave your progress. What a scam

Some game objectives are unclear

The writing is funny and the mini game format is not original but well paced. The only but fatal flaw is that the objectives of some games are very poorly presented, the train and fast food level, for example, and you always stumble on those levels. Being able to replay specific mini games would help solving this problem... The unlocking system is extremely stupid, each unlock progressively cost MORE, what a time waster Also, you get charged if you want to save, and it is only good for one of the two acts.

Love this game

Amazing game, havent paid at all because I love replaying it. The music is amazing and the games are fun. Remind me of wario ware from my GameCube days. 10/10 my new fav game cant wait for Act 2. And I found the mini games rather easy to pick up on. Anyone can play it

Good

You dont need to pay 4$ to save the game its a joke. I excited out of the game and reopened it was saved

Super fun

I like that we got the option to try the game out for free before buying it because I probably wouldnt have gotten it if I had to pay before trying it. It was sooo worth the $3.99 in my opinion and I nEVER buy games cause Im poor and cheap lol. Loved it, super quirky and hilarious. Im in love with the developers :p great game

Its good, but...

It has a few problems. For one, you have to PAY to save. Wow. Second, its really weirdly pixelated. I really think that its good in gameplay, but bad in other stuff.

Fun Musical Times

I for one think this game is brilliant! Theyve got a great cast and storyline, add to that great songs and speed testing mini games and Im completely sold! I would have purchased this game for $4 just because I think they DESERVE to get paid for creating such a smart, enjoyable game!

awesome

very fun game songs are super catchy and mini games are awesome

Worth it!

So many people are caught up over the fact that you have to pay to save, that the game isnt receiving the reviews it deserves. It says, before you download the app, that there are in app purchases. There are no annoying adds, and you can play as much as you want for free. You just have to pay to save. I absolutely love it! So much fun, And I cant wait until the next part!

Addicting and fun!

To save progress it costs $4, but it is worth it! This is an amazing, humorous game with fun challenges and a creative plot!
